The Apex24UL provides the highest performance available in the 24 GHz band with outstanding throughput, latency, management capability, and reliability. The system utilizes 1024QAM modulation and multilayer header compression to enable throughput of 750+ Mbps full duplex (1.5 Gbps+ aggregate) on a single 60 MHz channel. With XPIC or 2+0 configurations the system can support over 1 Gbps full duplex.
Operating in the un-crowded 24.05 to 24.25 GHz band, link distances of 5 miles or more can be achieved. The system has unparalleled flexibility with user settable channel bandwidths from 10 to 60 MHz, modulation from QPSK to 1024QAM, and custom Transmit/Receive spacing. Hitless Adaptive Coding & Modulation (ACM), combined with advanced VLAN, MPLS, and Diffserv QoS, ensures all critical traffic goes through during rain fades.
Carrier features are included such as a full Metro Ethernet Switch with RSTP, ERPS (G.8032), Link/Service OAM, and advanced multilayer QoS. The system supports both Sync-E and IEEE1588v2, and AES 256 Encryption is available for applications requiring high link security. Two GigE ports are available for traffic and in-band management which support Copper and Fiber, with a separate out-of band management (OBM) port present. Full 1+1 hot standby (HSB) is also supported for link where ring redundancy is not an option.
The TrangoLINK Apex24UL™ is easy to setup and can be quickly deployed without waiting for a frequency license. The all-outdoor unit attaches directly to the high performance antenna (1 to 3 foot diameter) using a simple slip-fit connection, and only a single Ethernet cable required to carry management, traffic, and power to the network. The compact weatherproof housing features all-aluminum construction and can be powered via redundant PoE connections or directly with -48VDC.
The TrangoLINK Apex24UL™ meets FCC, Industry Canada and ETSI requirements and will begin shipping in September 2012.
