The 23 GHz TrangoLINK Giga® is a high-performance licensed digital microwave radio link system designed for point-to-point wireless backhaul applications for service provider WiMAX and cellular backhaul, and municipal and enterprise networks. The TrangoLINK Giga® 23 wireless bridge connection delivers 300+ Mbps full duplex over the air and is ideal for mixed traffic that requires both IP and traditional T1/E1 connectivity.
TrangoLINK Giga® 23 Highlights
- Basic unit includes 100+ Mbps full duplex throughput capacity, and is easily upgradeable to 310+ Mbps full duplex (620+ Mbps) with purchase of software Option Key
- Supports FCC/IC channel sizes 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 MHz via software selectable filters for improved sensitivity
- Per microwave link throughput:
- 280 Mbps full duplex (256 QAM, 50 MHz channel size)
- 220 Mbps full duplex (128 QAM, 40 MHz channel size)
- 108 Mbps full duplex (128 QAM, 20 MHz channel size)
- 43 Mbps full duplex (64 QAM, 10 MHz channel size)
- Four GigE ports (10/100/1000BaseT) with configurable bandwidth provisioning
- GigE ports have port priority assignment (VLAN) and
QoS features supporting eight priorities and four queues
- Eight T1/E1 ports are automatically added to or dropped from
the data stream when connected or disconnected

TrangoLINK Giga® Architecture
The TrangoLINK Giga® microwave radio link is a split mount architecture that consists of two 1U rackmount In-Door Units (IDU) and two direct mount slip-fit Out-Door Units (ODU). The ODU attaches easily to an external antenna for the desired long-range microwave radio link availability.
Fail Safe Features for High Network Availability and Reliability
- Configurable for 1+1 link protection against hardware failure; provides full link redundancy
- Rapid Port Shutdown feature for extremely fast routing failover; scriptable for advance outage prevention and automatic notifications
- Supports dual power supplies for power redundancy
